The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool and the rooms are very modern. The parking is not convenient even though they have valet parking,

Lovely setting for this hotel. We enjoyed walking through the grounds observing the autumn colors. The facility was especially nice in the evening as warm, glowing fires were burning in stone fireplaces in the lobby and lounge areas. The lights of the hotel danced in the reflections off of the lake. Nice western suburban location. 10 minutes from Oak Park and Frank Lloyd Wright's home/museum. Restaurants and room service shut down at 11 pm. Valet setup is slow. I called 20 minutes ahead to have car ready and it still wasn't there. Overall, a 3 star hotel, doesn't offer all the services of a true 4 star. ...read more
